Flight A top 3

Dave Dean 1st place @ 68 net, Robert Froehlich 2nd @ 69, and Jim Cox 3rd at 70 net. Tom Anderson and Elmer Schmidt shared the Atta Boy at 71 net each.


Flight B top 3

The Dean of VGA Gordon Lukert 91 plus years shoots 89 net for a 65 net best round on the VGA circuit today and 1st place. I hate it but he did it great work, Gordon. 2nd place went to my cart partner Cathy Harvey @ 69 net if you hadn’t missed all those short putts you would have won it. Good job though. Fred Baldwin was third at 69 and Doug Walsh brought home the Atta Boy @ 70 net.

Greg Nash designed Union Hills’ 18 Hole traditional golf course. The course has four lakes and two creeks incorporated into the design. The fairways are average width, and some of the greens are elevated. The signature hole at Union Hills is #14, a 360-yard Par 4, requiring a carry over water.

Flight A top 3

Perry Variano was 1st at 71 net and tied with George Kowalchik also at 71 net. George was 2nd with scores settled in a scorecard playoff. Darrell Ruehle was 3rd @ 72 net. Amy Arnold and Jon Zoffka shared the Atta Boy/Girl.


Flight B top 3

Ron Landon 1st with a 67 net also the lowest net score for all players. 2nd place went to Warren Meehan @ 68 net, and Doug Walsh was third tied with Warren at 68 net. Settled in a scorecard playoff. Lloyd Snively captured the Atta Boy. at 71 net.

Gary Moffitt holed an Eagle shot on hole #3 which I’m sure made his day.
