Flight A top 3

Perry Variano finished in 1st place at Sun City Country Club. His net score was tied for the lowest in the event. Well done and welcome back! Jon Zoffka secured 2nd place with a net score of [insert score here]. Dave Dean came in 3rd place with a net score of 74. Robert Froehlich and Larry Burton tied at 75 and shared the “Atta Boy” award.

Flight B top 3

Ken Baca was 1st in B flight and tied at 69 net for the lowest net in the event. Great job Ken. 2nd place went to Ken Majors with his net 76 score. Jim Niblack, Bill Heller, and Jim Foster all shot 79 nets. Jim earned 3rd place money. Bill and Jim Foster shared the Atta Boy.

Flight A top 3

Newcomer Robert Scott won the A Flight with a net score of 71. Well done, Robert! Dave Dean also finished with a net score of 71, tying Robert for first place; however, Robert ultimately claimed the win after a scorecard playoff. Dave took 2nd place. Rob Katzaroff secured third place with a net score of 76, and Jon Zoffka earned the “Atta Boy” award with a net score of 77.

Flight B top 3

The Carver is back! Bill Heller secured 1st place in the B Flight with a net score of 73. Neal Fisel followed closely in 2nd place with a net score of 74, while Fred Baldwin took 3rd place with a net score of 77. Ken Baca and Cathy Harvey tied with net scores of 78 and will share the Atta Boy-Girl award.

Flight A top 3

Brian Scott secured 1st place in A Flight with a net score of 70. Dan Bengston took 2nd place with a net score of 73, while Dave Dean finished in 3rd place with a net score of 74. William Nelson earned the “Atta Boy” award with his net score of 75.

Flight B top 3

I’m not quite sure how he acquired the stock in a public course, but Gordon Lukert, known as “The Dean of VGA,” owns the Aguila Golf Course. Today, he took 1st place in the B flight with a net score of 66, just one stroke shy of shooting his age and the low net of the round. I could be mistaken, but I don’t think I’m far off. Well done, young man! Jim Foster, Jeff Darbut, and Jesse Aponte all shot 71 nets with Jim in 2nd place, Jeff in 3rd place, and Jesse got the Atta Boy all in a scorecard playoff.
