Flight A top 3

Joe Pilewicz and Jim Cox both shot 70 nets today at Aguila A flight, tying for the lowest net score. Joe took home 1st place money, while Jim claimed 2nd after a scorecard playoff. Mark Thompson and Steve Park tied at 72 nets, with Mark earning the 3rd place prize and Steve taking the Atta Boy in their playoff. It was a beautiful day for golf.

Flight B top 3

Dr. Doug Walsh and Neal Fisel tied at 70 net in B flight today, matching the lowest nets of the event alongside A flight players Pilewicz and Cox. Doug got 1st and Neal was 2nd in their scorecard playoff. George Kowalchik claimed third place with a 71 net, while the Atta Boy went to Brien Byers at 74 net. Great job to all VGA players today.

Flight A top 3

It was the Brogen A flight event today at Aguila. Matt Sr. took first place with a 68 net—great job, Sr.! Matt Jr. came in second with a 72 net, a solid showing for my old two-man playing partner. Darnell Jones finished third at 73 net, while Darell Ruehle, Elmer Schmidt, Kevin Williams, and Lonny Rakes all tied at 74 net to share the coveted Atta Boys award.

Flight B top 3

William “Right-Handed Carver” Heller wowed the crowd with a net score of 64, taking 1st place and the lowest net of the event—way to go, Billy! Mike Stang followed with a 66 net for 2nd place. In 3rd place, it was a tie between Mike Roether and Bob Inman, with Mike claiming the prize money and Bob taking the Atta home once again in a scorecard playoff.

Flight A top 3

Perry Variano took 1st place in A Flight today at Union Hills, tying with four other golfers at 68 net. He shared the top score in A Flight with Mike Roether and tied with two players in B Flight. Mike finished 2nd in the playoff for his 68 net. Rusty Silverman claimed 3rd at 70 net, while Steve Yamasaki earned the Atta Boy at 73 net. Great work by everyone.

Flight B top 3

Jim Foster and Lovell Robinson tied at 68 net, with Jim taking 1st place in the B flight. Lovell, after a scorecard playoff, claimed 2nd place. Danny “The Legend” came in at 69 net, just one stroke shy of legendary play, but still an excellent performance for 3rd place. Bill “The Right-Handed Carver” earned the Atta Boy with a 73 net.
