Flight A top 3

Jim Emma took 1st place in the A flight with a net score of 69—great job, Jim! Andrew Choi, Robert Froehlich, and Ron Amstutz all tied at 70 nets. Andrew secured 2nd place. Robert claimed 3rd in a scorecard playoff. Ron earned the Atta Boy recognition in a scorecard playoff.

Flight B top 3

Alan Yancy had an outstanding day. He took 1st place in B Flight. He earned the low net for the event with a 66. Jeffery Turner and Seth Garcia tied at 71. Jeffery claimed 2nd place after a scorecard playoff. Seth finished 3rd. Fred Baldwin and Jim Niblack shared the Atta Boy honors at 72, with no playoff requested. Ringers Saturday Rd 3 scores.

Flight A top 3

The rain must have scared a few players away, leaving only one flight today. Jim Cox shot a 71 net to take 1st place. He also achieved the lowest net for the event. Nice job, Jim, you’re the man! Seth Garcia came in 2nd with a 72 net, just one stroke behind. Elmer Schmidt, Robert Froehlich, Kevin Garcia, and Jeffery Turner all tied at 73 nets, with Elmer taking 3rd third-place prize money. Bob, Kevin and Jeffery shared the “Atta Boy” honors—true sportsmen all the way.

Flight A top 3

Larry Burton, on his SW tour of the VGA, notched another win today at Union Hills. He shot a net 68. He tied with Warren Meehan, the B flight winner, for low net honors. Larry claimed 1st place in A flight—great round, Larry. Rusty Silverman took 2nd with a net 72, so his thumb must be doing fine. George Kowalchik secured 3rd with a net 73, and Steve Laveirge earned the Atta Boy with a net 74.

Flight B top 3

Warren Meehan fired a 68 net. He took 1st place in the B flight and tied for the low net overall. What a fantastic round! Jim Niblack and Mike Roether both carded 72 nets, with Jim securing 2nd and Mike claiming 3rd. Charles Falcone earned the Atta Boy with a 73 net. A great day of golf under the sunny Arizona skies.
