VGA Flight both A and B Results from today’s event.

Flight A top 3

Matthew Brogen finished in 1st place. His impressive score of 65 included three birdies. He achieved the lowest net score of the day. Congratulations to Matt for a great job! Jon Zoffka took 2nd place with a net score 68, while Eric Bowers secured 3rd place. Mike Roether tied with Eric, but won the “Atta Boy” award after a scorecard playoff.

Flight B top 3

Fred Baldwin won 1st place in B Flight with a net score 69. Brian Dempster, Don Majors, and Eddie Little all tied with net scores 71. Brian secured 2nd place, Don took 3rd, and Eddie received the Atta Boy award through a scorecard playoff. award through a scorecard playoff.

VGA Flight both A and B Results from today’s event.

Flight A top 3

Today’s top performer was Andy “No Pic” Edson. He achieved a net score of 71. This earned him the low net for the event. Well done, Andy! Steve Richter came in second with a net score of 72. John Zoffka placed third with a net score of 75. Elmer Schmidt and Steve Laveirge tied for the glorious “Atta Boy” share. Both finished with a net score of 76 net.

Flight B top 3

Cathy Harvey and Jim Foster both achieved a score of 77 nets. In a scorecard playoff, Cathy emerged victorious, securing first place, while Jim claimed second place. Congratulations to both for their excellent performance this season! Lovell Robinson, Dennis Sylvia, and Gordon Lukert each shot 78 nets. Lovell took home the third-place prize. Dennis and Gordon shared the “Atta Boy” award. A scorecard playoff also determined the award.

Wow, this is the first time this has happened—I don’t have any pictures of the Flight A winners! If you would please send me one to use here (web@valleygolfers.com), that would be great. Michael Brown shot a net score of 68 to win 1st place. He also had the lowest net score for both flights. Welcome to the VGA, Michael! Andy Edson, a familiar face among the winners, finished strong with a net score of 71, earning him 2nd place. Kevin Williams, James Belanger, and Matthew Brogen Jr. each scored net 73s. Kevin takes home the 3rd place prize, while James and Matthew shared the Atta Boy award. On Saturday, December 14th, 2024, Kevin Williams made an impressive eagle on hole #2 at Cave Creek Golf Course. What a great start, Kevin!

Flight B top 3

Dwain, have you purchased new clubs or something? Once again, Dwain triumphs with a net score of 73, tied with Mike Roether. In a scorecard playoff, Dwain took 1st place and Mike secured 2nd. Robert Johnson claimed 3rd today with a net of 74. Dr. Douglas Walsh earned the Atta Boy with a net score of 75.
