Bradley Rinehart and Dave Dean on a overcast day at the Biltmore Links course # 14 hole. Brad birdied this hole. Note the cloud on the Mountain. Humid day out there.

Hurricane Newton brought rain and some serious humidity to the Biltmore Links course today. Good thing none of that could keep the Little Giant, Ron Gunderson from winning today with a net 66. Good work Ron, you are one tough dude man. In second place and in the money for the 1st time after a  long sabbatical from VGA, Bob Watson at 67 net. Good work Bob must have been the practice we got over at San Marcos Monday. Rumor has it that Danny Clark would have tied Bob, but he and his group got DQed for playing the wrong tees. It wasn’t even my fault this time. I played with Brad Rinehart and Dave Dean today and Dave got third with a 68 net. Started off with a rough 8 on #18 the first hole we played but he settled down and had a great round after that. Jim Bays jumped on the Atta-Boy award as he tied Dave but lost on the scorecard playoff. Sorry Jim, but heard you won all the CTPs though. Rest of the pack scores below.

As one of the best golf courses in all of Arizona, you will play on a world class layout that provides, “A golf experience to remember for a lifetime.” In 1995, Robert Trent Jones Jr. made his Arizona debut joining an elite list of world class architects who have left their mark in the desert southwest with the opening of Las Sendas Golf Club. A demanding desert-style layout winding through the Usery Mountains in eastern Mesa, this upscale course is setting the standard for customer service in the Mesa, Scottsdale, and Greater Phoenix areas. Las Sendas’ spectacular views of the Phoenix metropolis and skyline help soften the demand of managing your game through the rugged terrain, nearly 1800 feet above the desert floor.
