Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022, Legacy GR.

Legacy’s elite driving range and short game complex are open from sunrise to 30 minutes before sunset daily. The spacious driving range hosts golf balls provided by Srixon. Call the golf shop for more information! The short game complex is one of the most popular areas at the facility. With an extraordinarily large putting green consisting of four different levels and a dozen different holes to putt to, you will always find a new challenge to help you sharpen your game. A practice bunker accompanies separate chipping and pitching green, allowing you to work on every shot needed from 40 yards and in. Bring some friends, and come out and enjoy practicing in this tranquil setting that is close to the Greenside Grill and Bar.

Oakcreek Country Club, designed by the famous father and son team of Robert Trent Jones Sr. and Robert Trent Jones Jr., can truly be described as a work of art. The par 72, 18-hole championship golf course is nestled among the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona with views beyond compare, and the golf course design a masterpiece. The golf course is a traditional layout similar to those that you may find in the mid-western United States. In the usual Trent Jones manner, the fairways are classic tree lined doglegs with fairway bunkers strategically placed in the landing areas, and the greens are all slightly elevated and surrounded by large swirling green side bunkers. The course is “player friendly”, allowing plenty of room for error but always with an opportunity to recover and get errant shots back into play. The golf course consists of 145 acres, including three lakes. Water comes into play on the front nine on holes #4, #6, and #7. On the back nine, the water comes into play twice on holes #10 and #18. “Every hole must be a hard par and an easy bogey” — Robert Trent Jones Sr.
