The Dean of VGA celebrates a long awaited win.
Personal note: Perhaps most of you know the “Dean of VGA” Gordon Lukert so-called because he currently is the eldest living member of VGA still playing actively. I might add he’s scored some money in VGA as a winner in a couple of events this year and was 2019 Club Champion and at 88 years his story is not over. Please do not bet with him on the course. Since 1956 he has been following the Brooklyn and LA Dodgers and has seen all their World Series wins and now 32 years later the 7th win occurred last night. Thankfully although encouraged by Gordon I didn’t fall for any baseball bets with him for fear of seeing this. So congrats to the Dodgers and to their faithful fans, now just shut up about it. 😎
Next up for VGA, Saturday, October 31, 2020 Los Caballeros (+) 8:00 AM $60.00. Click here to get the course website.

A traditional championship course with a challenging 135 slope rating and length of 7,014 yards, our “signature hole” is the 13th. Playing 605 yards from the rust tees, it is consistently rated as one of the most challenging par 5 holes in the state. Designed to challenge a variety of skill levels and sitting at 2,100 feet of elevation, our course offers incredible views of the Bradshaw Mountains and Vulture Peak. Adding to the ambiance of this esteemed course are the driving ranges, practice putting greens, short-game practice area, and the first-rate staff that make Los Caballeros Golf Club the best-kept secret of the golf community.
