The Foothills Golf Club truly represents what desert golf should be and caters to both power and course management-minded players. The par-72 Championship, links-style course, was designed by internationally acclaimed architects Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish.
The Foothills Golf Club stretches to almost 7,000 yards with lush rolling fairways, blue lakes, and 65 bunkers set against rough rocky desert terrain. With four sets of tees, The Foothills Golf Club has appeal for golfers of all skill levels and has earned a four-star ranking from Golf Digest, along with being listed as one of Phoenix’s top golf courses.
VGA Big Dog points winners for today’s event. Richard Pilewicz took 1st place at the Foothills tournament with a 71 net score. Steve Yamasaki and Danny Campos tied at 72 nets score with Steve taking 2nd place and Dan 3rd place on the scorecard playoff. Joey Hochevar and Dan Christiansen tied for the Atta Boy at 73 nets scores.
