Wednesday, October 11th, 2017 / Biltmore Links

The younger of the Biltmore family; smart, fresh and a bit precocious, this celebrated layout has quickly earned the respect of golfers everywhere as a premier Arizona golf course. Rolling fairways lined with luscious pines meander through some of the most stunning homes in Phoenix. Well-bunkered greens demand precision-shot selection, and the contoured grounds roll as they come. If you can accurately place the ball, you will be rewarded with your score.

Appears to me that Dave Dean has wrapped up the VGA Big Dog competition for Wednesday’s competition today with a victory at the Biltmore Links course with a 68 net. Fine work today. Second place went to Tom Giljum at 69 net and he too appears to have wrapped up a spot in the Wednesday VGA Big Dogs with two more events left to go for this year. A three-way tie for third at 71 net occurred, a new guy named Bob Watson got the money on the scorecard playoff, his cart partner Doug Rankin captured the Att-A-Boy and Ron Gunderson the little Giant got the tie with no money and no Atta-A-Boy. Sorry, Ron.  You guys watch out for my cart partner today Garrett Majlinger, he can hit a 3 wood further than most of us hit a driver. He’s young and a talented golfer. Soon as he fine tunes his game from a 6-month layoff he will be taking some money home. Special shout out to Frank Szakal good to see him getting rid of his leg problems and out and competing again. See you all at Falcon Dunes on Saturday and all the results are here.
