The San Marcos Golf Course boasts a recent multi-million dollar renovation and now includes a brand new state-of-the-art irrigation system that produces year-round premium playing conditions, expanded lakes, new tee boxes, reconstructed bunkers with new sand, and green enlargements on a handful of holes. The result is a strategically-diverse and visually stunning layout that makes for an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all playing abilities.

Gary Vance wins the San Marcos event with a 70 net score tied with Dan the Legend Clark who took 2nd place on a scorecard playoff. Dave Dean took 3rd place and Dennis Sylvia tie at 71 net with Dave getting the 3rd place money and Dennis stuck with the Atta Boy on another scorecard playoff.

Ken McDonald is one of the most active and reasonably priced 18 hole par 72 championship golf courses in the metropolitan Phoenix area with a full-service restaurant and bar. The golf course was built in 1974 and designed by the famous local architect Jack Snyder. This 18-hole championship course provides an excellent round of golf for every skill level at an affordable price. This well-maintained course has been a favorite to Arizona golfers and is consistently ranked as one of the area’s top daily-fee courses. The course, while flat, has well-placed hazards that provide a fun and challenging golf experience. Ken McDonald also hosts a fantastic program for junior golfers.
