Hillcrest Golf Course plays over 7,000 yards from the tips posing a challenge to even the biggest hitters. There are, however, plenty of doglegs, water hazards, and white sand bunkers to keep them in check. Generous fairways, an all grass layout, and an absence of blind shots make Hillcrest a perfect site for any caliber of participant. Choose from multiple tee placements, which allow play from 5,500 to over 7,000 yards. The course can also accommodate up to 288 players. With elegant yet comfortable surroundings and impeccable service from a knowledgeable staff, it’s easy to see why Hillcrest is the venue for more than 100 corporate and private events annually. As the nation’s largest golf school, John Jacobs’ offers a variety of individual and group instruction options to help you achieve your goals, whether it’s polishing your back swing or revamping your game. The Club features a double-ended driving range as well as extensive short game practice areas for putting, pitching, and bunker shots.
It was another “Two Doug Day”. Doug Patterson playing some really good golf lately got his due in a small way today. A small net score of 59 net that is. Trust me that is rare. He got first place of course. Who is this guy Brooks? He disappears and returns wreaking havoc on Arizona Golf Courses. Richard Brooks gets second place with a usually winning score of 63 net. The second half of the Doug and Doug crew got third place as Doug Rankin scored another usually winning score of 66 net. Seven scores under 70 net, pretty good gentlemen. Needless to say the conditions were very good today.
