VGA offers prearranged golf events on Wednesdays and Saturdays at courses in the Phoenix area. Membership in VGA open to Men & Women
Wednesday, March 17, 2021, Sun City CC.
Lads and Lasses hope the Golf Gods smiled on ye today. Luck beats skill as the wise ole golfer once told me. Happy St. Patrick’s day to ye.
Despite the typical Arizona climate, Sun City Country Club is not a typical desert-style course. Sun City Country Club is lined with large shade trees, a classic layout forcing accurate shots and good iron play. Our 18-hole course is as challenging as it is enjoyable. With four sets of tees, play at Sun City Country Club spans between 5,145 and 6,275 yards, making it a treat for players of all skill and experience levels. SCCC is a par 72 golf course, and the variety and challenges on these grounds has made it a long-time Arizona golf favorite! Home to the 2014 & 2015 Arizona Women’s Open, we know that you will enjoy a club that has withstood the test of time.

The Grille menu includes salads, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, appetizers, and breakfast (breakfast served 7:00 – 11:30 a.m.). Drinks Fore Friends. Enjoying a drink in great company is the best way to relax after a round of golf. But sometimes you’ll find yourself at our clubhouse wishing a friend were here. For those occasions, we’ve got you covered. You can buy a drink for an absentee friend and we’ll put it right up on our “Drinks Fore Friends” board. The next time they come in, they can redeem the drink. If they’re worthy of the friendship, they will slap one on the board for you in return. Heads up: we remove listings from the board after 60 days, but they never expire. Your bartender will find your listing in the “Book of Shame!” Outing Menu.
