Wednesday, March 15, 2017 Sun City CC

We are celebrating our 50th anniversay this year! Welcome to Sun City Country Club, a semi-private golf club that is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Proud home of the 2016 Arizona Women’s Open and the 2015 & 2017 Arizona Special Olympics Golf Championships, Sun City’s original championship country club is one of those few golf courses that offers a nice break from the typical desert-style layout. Lined with large shade trees, our course makes it an easy choice for fun golf. And the design of our golf course is great for all skill levels making this a great family course.

Today it was Chad Olberding taking first place at Sun City Country Club. He did it with a scorecard playoff with Bill Heller as they both tied at 69 net. Bill took 2nd place. Third Place went to John Euler at 71 net. Fred Baldwin gets the Atta-a-Boy all by himself at 73 net. Next up Tres Rios, rest of the field below.

Next up for VGA, Saturday, March 18, 2017 Tres Rios 8:00 $45.00.

Tres Rios offers 18 holes of traditional championship golf. No more losing your golf balls in the desert! You will notice the serene and breathtaking views of the Estrella Mountains, abundant wild life, and no hint of urban development during your round. Tucked cozily into the desert foothills, this oasis insulates golfers from the desert environment, lending an opportunity to soak up Arizona’s warmth and sunshine in the sanctity and shade of stately eucalyptus trees.
