OK, it was warm but certainly not hot by Arizona Standards. Nice breeze that did nothing but melt the sweat off your brow. Dave Dean and Rich Golz tied for 1st today. Dave got 1st on a scorecard playoff and Rich had to settle for 2nd. Frank Szakal captured 3rd with a 67 net all by himself. “El Presidente”, Tony Dalton was the winner of the Atta-a-Boy today at 68 net. Kierland played great today I thought. Grass in the fairways was great and greens were fast and true. I guess I had never played the Acacia course before so I didn’t know about the requirement that you must be part Mountain Goat to get out of the funnels on last part of the course. Puts a real strain on leg muscles old timers don’t use much, at least me anyway. Longbow is next up so be sure to get out for that one. Rest of the fields scores below.
