Tee it up at Club West Golf Club! Boasting a stunning 18-hole Brian Whitcomb/Ken Kavanaugh design that serves up 4 sets of tees ranging from 4,985 yards to as much as 7,142 yards from the back tees. The course’s elevation and beauty distinguishes itself from other Phoenix, golf courses. Elevation changes that are nowhere more evident than at Club West’s signature par three: the downhill “double green” 17th hole that is highlighted by dramatic views and a tee to green elevation change of over 100 feet. Club West also features a complete practice range, well appointed golf shop and full-service Agave Bistro that highlights spectacular views from the elegant dining room and patio. The 120-seat dining room also is one of the area’s popular banquet venue and is ideal for wedding receptions, special celebrations and corporate events.

Greg Bertram came in with a nice 65 net to take the Club West event today. Tied at 66 nets were Tim Haight and Richard Brooks. Tim got 2nd on the scorecard playoff and Richard got 3rd. Great work and well done out there. There are several ways I could have been someone today. In fact if I had just double bogeyed #16 instead of scoring a 10, I would have won. The Atta-a-Boy is mine however and based on a lot of bad play from me in the past, I am happy to own the coveted prize.  Perhaps Aguila will work for me Saturday. See you all there. Rest of the field’s scores below.

The Aquila Golf Course facility offers two golf courses; one is a Championship length course while the other is a par-3, nine-hole course. The championship course provides an excellent game of golf for an affordable price. There are scenic views of mountains and downtown Phoenix as well as a challenging layout featuring several water hazards and bunkers. Although the terrain is rather hilly, it is still relatively walkable. The course has an excellent range of holes that each have a unique character, the par 5’s are especially notable. Native grasses and wildflowers are also present on Aquila’s Championship course, further adding to its natural beauty.
