The Legacy Golf Club, rich in heritage and history, is an 18-hole par 71 championship golf course designed by renowned golf course architect Gary Panks. Located on what was once Dwight B. Heard’s 7,500-acre ranch, the golf club is rich in Arizona heritage and history. Taking great pride in preserving and integrating many of the historical structures and monuments, our 18-hole championship golf course offers a unique look and an added opportunity to experience some Arizona history and of the Heard legacy, from which the golf club takes its name. The original two-grain silos, built in 1902, still remain along the 18th fairway and were once the tallest structures in Maricopa County. The Sierra Vista House, which marks the 1st tee, was visited on occasion in the early 1900’s by Theodore Roosevelt and Pancho Villa. Come make your own history at the Legacy Golf Club!

Doug Rankin on the Rogue River.

Winner today with an excellent 62 net score Douglas Rankin. 78 gross for Doug today. Getting so he can’t get in the 80s anymore. Playing very well as of late. Doug is going in for hip replacement on the 12 of September so he may be not playing for awhile. I remember when he had both knees replaced at the same time. Believe he was back hitting the ball in about a months time so I doubt he can be held down very long. Good luck Doug and we all wish you back asap after surgery and don’t get any  of that Iron Man stuff put it. Second place goes to John Euler playing with Doug in the same group. Some good golf in that group. John scored a 68 net. Third place goes to Tom Giljum. Had the pleasure of playing with Tim Haight today. Been wanting to know how he does it. Caught him pouring some strange looking red stuff in his water jug today. He didn’t exactly say what it was. He finished with a Birdie out of the sand trap in the hole on #18. Perhaps I may buy some of that red stuff too. 😉 Rest of the scores below.
