Falcon Golf Club opened for play in 1997 and quickly became a valley favorite for first class public golf at affordable golf rates. Brian Curley of Landmark Golf Company designed Falcon Golf Club. Majestically nestled around the Estrella & White Tank Mountains, the front nine is target style with desert like conditions and the back nine is more traditional with bunkers, water, and trees separating the fairways and greens. The golf course plays at 6733 yards from the back tees with par of 71. Falcon Golf Club has been known for having greens and fairways in great condition. Falcon is a great venue for tournaments because the golf course is playable for the beginning golfer yet challenging for the advanced golfer.

In first place today and winning by 2 strokes, Dennis Haigwood at 64 net. Good to see you back in the winners circle again Dennis. Second place was a tie at 65 net, with Tim Haight and Tony Dalton slugging it out. Tim won 2nd place on the scorecard playoff and Tony got third. Was a spectacular day to play in Arizona today and I think the scores showed most every one was doing a great job of managing  the course at Falcon GC today. The rest of the field scores are below. Great shooting out there guys.

Next up for VGA, Wednesday, October 5, 2016 Wigwam-Gold 8:00:00 AM $42.00.

Wigwam Gold #3 hole. This jewel of the desert is among the Southwest’s last remaining Phoenix golf courses & resorts that was built for a pure golf experience. Canals, streams and lakes cascade through the journey. The shadows cast on greens and bunkers are from majestic parkland trees, not multi-story resort buildings.
