Aguila Hole # 1 About Aguila 18…Gary Panks links design course. Challenging layout and design for all levels of golfers. Transition areas feature native grasses and wildflowers. Set at the base of South Mountain with scenic Mountain views Three lakes come into play on five holes. Scenic skyline views of downtown Phoenix. Continuous cart paths and four sets of tees. Aguila (Spanish for Eagle) logo displays the ancient Aztec design of an eagle on merchandise and apparel.
Danny Clark the Legend

Last full day of the Champion of Champions plays an exciting day for the regular Flight 1 event too. The “Legend” Daniel Clark rose up and captured 1st place with an outstanding 65 net. Walt Kastern took 2nd (66), Mark Matthews 3rd (67), and the hard-hitting John Adair took the Atta Boy (68).

 

 

Yankee Bob Watson

Flight 2 event featured a new winner in a while. Robert “Yankee Bob” Watson won with a 69 net. Well done Bob. Second place to Bill Heller at 71 net, with Margaret Storms and Vance Roether tying at 72 with Margaret getting the money and Vance taking the Att Boy on the scorecard playoff.
