Tucked cozily into the desert foothills, this oasis insulates golfers from the desert environment, lending an opportunity to soak up Arizona’s warmth and sunshine in the sanctity and shade of stately eucalyptus trees. Make sure to reserve your tee time now to ensure your opportunity to play this oasis in the desert!

Tres Rios was in perhaps the best condition that I have seen it lately. Amazing what a little rain will do for the Desert. Fairways were good mostly covered with great grass and the greens were all good I thought and held well. High temp for the day on the course hit only 88.  In fact I liked it so well I won with a 62 net. This time I didn’t hit the wrong ball or any of the other stupid things I can do on a golf course. To coin a VGA phrase, I was “Luckier the Bosiak” If I hit into a tree down the fairway It went through and magically appeared on the fairway on the other side. So I accepted the luck, the fate, what ever it was and come home smiling. In second place and playing a new rack of Forged irons and other amazing stuff he doesn’t even need because he is the one to beat gross wise every time. Danny Campos came in with 4 birdies and a gross 66 with a net 63. Sorry Dan you deserved it. Third place at 64 net was Jim Bays, who by the way sold me the Bridgestone E6 balls I played with today. Thanks Jim they worked well for me. Next up Superstition Springs so try it out if you haven’t played it. Rest of the field scores below.

Next up for VGA, Wednesday, March 22, 2017 Superstition Springs.  ShotGun Start @ 8:00, $50.00.
