Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 / Falcon Dunes

Falcon Golf Club opened for play in 1997 and quickly became a valley favorite for first class public golf at affordable golf rates. Brian Curley of Landmark Golf Company designed Falcon Golf Club. Majestically nestled around the Estrella & White Tank Mountains, the front nine is target style with desert like conditions and the back nine is more traditional with bunkers, water, and trees separating the fairways and greens. The golf course plays at 6733 yards from the back tees with par of 71. Falcon Golf Club has been known for having greens and fairways in great condition. Falcon is a great venue for tournaments because the golf course is playable for the beginning golfer yet challenging for the advanced golfer.

Congrats to Barry Jennejahn on his Eagle on #13 today. Nice shot Barry. Donald Pierce took 1st in Flight # 1 tied with Tim Haight second at 66 net and Ken Slagle also at 66 net. Ken had to settle for third on the scorecard playoff.  Wow a three-way tie in Flight 1. Tony Dalton and Mike Roether shared the Atta Boy at 69 net. Now for Flight #2, Eddie Little scored 67 net for 1st place all by himself, with Dennis Haigwood and Margaret Storms 2nd and 3rd respectively tied at 69 nets. Dennis winning on the Scorecard playoff. Jeff Currie and Eugene Disque shared the Atta Boy at 70 nets each. Hope it wasn’t too hot out there.
