
The 2019 Waste Management Phoenix Open raised more than $13.2 million dollars for charity, setting a tournament record for the eighth straight year. The Thunderbirds and the WMPO have raised more than $45M for charities since 2010 when Waste Management became the title sponsor. The WMPO has won the PGA TOUR’s “Best Title Sponsor Integration award for diverting 100% of tournament waste from landfills. Zero waste means nothing from the tournament went to landfills in three years – not a single cup, can, sign or container.
