Estrella &White Tank Mountains. Featuring a front nine target style golf with desert like conditions and the back nine is championship style with bunkers, water, and trees separating the fairways and greens. The golf course plays at 6,733 yards from the back tees with a par of 71. Falcon is a great venue for tournaments as the golf course is playable for the beginning golfer yet is still challenging for the advanced golfer.

One thing you might think when you score a 64 in a VGA event, is hey I might be the winner. You would never think hey I’m going to lose by 6 strokes. Happened today as Dan Christiansen smoked the course for an 58 net win. Well done Dan. Smoking something himself, Dennis Haigwood came in second place at a usual winning 61 net score only good for second today. The Roether bros came in tied at 64 net with Mike Roether getting third place and Vance Roether getting the Atta Boy. 15 of 23 players came in under 70 today. Great scoring, eh?
